Performance Agreement

1. Agreement

Booking agreements are negotiated by Mesquite Café Blues Band, LLC (M.C.B.B.) and the Client.  

2. Confirming the booking/Agreement

Confirmation will mean any verbal, electronic, email, text, or written acceptance of this booking/Agreement by the Client. Bookings take effect immediately upon confirmation and will be scheduled on the M.C.B.B. calendar. 

3. Payment

Payment may be made in cash, check, through PayPal, or through ZELLE on or before the date of the event. Make checks payable to “Mesquite Cafe Blues Band, LLC” 

4. M.C.B.B. requirements

Power: The Client should ensure a safe and easily assessable source of power is provided.  M.C.B.B. can provide their own power through a power station (Battery Generator).  A  $50 charge will be added to the invoice price.  

Performance Area: The M.C.B.B. requires an area no smaller than 9’x6’ or nine feet wide (audience facing) and six feet deep in order to set up their equipment and perform properly. 

Breaks: M.C.B.B. may take reasonable breaks if needed.

Parking: The Client should ensure that parking be available for the duration of the event, and reasonable access to load and move equipment into the venue is available.  

Set-Up:  M.C.B.B. needs two-hours to set up prior to the event, and will need access to the venue at that time or sooner.

5. Performers

Exclusivity Clause: Due to the complexity of musical equipment, public address systems, and liability issues, the M.C.B.B. can not share its performance area with any other band, singer, dancer, musician, or performing artist.  Exceptions include M.C.B.B. providing a microphone for announcements, raffles, or master of ceremony activities.
